Range of Motion

In Home Pain Relief for Neuromuscular Dysfunction with Neuromuscular Massage and Trigger Point Therapy

Downregulation of the nervous system with Massage Therapy for Relaxation

I saw Amanda for mid-back pain that I was experiencing. I have been to acupuncture, chiropractic, and knew massage was my next step in addressing my pain. I knew I wanted specific massage therapy that addressed pain referral patterns, focused on anatomy and what muscle groups could be contributing to my pain. When I was getting ‘relaxation’ massages, they would leave my back and I would be so bummed because my legs weren’t in chronic pain and I just wanted them to stay on my upper back forever!

Amanda spent our entire visits working on my upper back, muscles on the front side of my neck, and shoulders that were rolling my shoulders forward and creating pain. After just 3 visits, I had lasting relief for 3 months which is the longest stretch of time that I’ve been pain free. Naturally, I didn’t change my lifestyle, posture, or workplace ergonomics so the pain has returned and I’m excited and confident in Amanda ability to make me pain free again!

Dr. Cassie Wilder

I’ve been going to Range of Motion for over a year now. Amanda Freed is amazing! I have fibromyalgia and she keeps me going! She is very knowledgeable. She takes great care in making sure she makes you feel good and relaxed. Before Amanda, I went to a number of massage therapists and wasn’t able to get the results that I needed. I felt bruised and more tense afterwards than when I went in. But Amanda is different. She knew just what I needed without having to tell her. All I told her was that I have fibro and she knew exactly what to do. I felt so relaxed, which is a feeling I hadn’t had in so long. She also has helped my carpel tunnel and I won’t have to have surgery. She is the best! I highly recommend her.

I saw Amanda after I was rear ended in a serious car accident. I was so incredibly happy with her and the pain lessened gradually over our sessions. I highly recommend and couldn’t have been happier with Amanda or my results. I feel better than I thought was possible and don’t have the pain from my car accident that was in my neck, shoulders, back and head. This also helped with the migraines I was experiencing at the time as well. I no longer need massages for the pain from my car accident, but if I was in need of a massage in the future she would definitely be who I would call.

Plantar Fasciitis

Deep aching pain in the heel comes from trigger points in the calf pulling on the calcaneal tendon which pulls on the plantar fascia.

Thoracic Outlet Syndrome

Pain, tingling, and numbness in the hands, wrists and arms is often misdiagnosed as carpal tunnel syndrome, but could be from entrapment of the brachial plexus by the scalene muscles in the neck, the pec minor in the chest and following the kinetic chain down the arm.

Sciatica & Piriformis Syndrome

Entrapment of the sciatic nerve by trigger points in the quadratus lumborum and deep gluteal muscles is one of the primary causes of the deep, aching pain associated with sciatica and piriformis syndrome.
